There are two main applications:
Fuel Pressure Gauge
When you install a fuel pressure gauge need to connect to the main fuel line. To do this cut and put a prop in "T " or "Y" as appropriate. The branch we have directly derived the pressure gauge.
This setup works fine, but if for some reason we have a leak in the meter circuit, we will lose fuel pressure and run the risk that the motor stops.
The solution is to put an atomizer derivative inserted into the branch leading to the pressure gauge. Thus, the meter measures exactly the same, as the pressure "is"just a small hole that big, but if the atomizer is leaking largely blocked the passage of a significant flow of gasoline and thus maintain the pressure in the main fuel line and engine will not run the risk of stopping.
Return circuit
Many engines usually have a fuel return circuit to tank. The feedback loop is useful because it allows the circuit priming electric pump petrol before starting the engine and helps maintain appropriate pressure in the fuel line to the engine.
The mission of the atomizer in this case is to maintain the pressure in the fuel line allowing the passage of a stream of returns to the tank.
