Traffic Monitor (TCAS)

The TCAS (Transponder Collision Avoidance System) is an electronic device that warns us of the presence of nearby transponder-equipped aircraft to our position.

Once detected the TACS informs us about distance and height relative to our position. Some TCAS allow connection to the GPS to display traffic on the navigation screen.

TCAS devices manufactured by ZAON are called PCAS (Portable Collision Avoidance System)
