BOSE A30 HEADSET CABLE

The BOSE A30 is a headset with modular design and consists of 2 parts:
- The headband with earcups (the same in all models)
- The microphone with the cable down to the final connector through the control box
A headband attached to the multiple combinations of cables available define the final configuration of the BOSE A30.

Connector types
- Dual GA: Consists of one 5.2mm jack and one 6.3mm jack. It is the most common type of connection in airplanes.
- U/174: 4-way jack connector used mainly in helicopters
- Lemo: 6 pin connector mainly used by Cirrus
- XLR5: 5 pin connector mainly used by Airbus
Cable types
2 possibilities are offered: Coiled and straight. You must choose coiled cable only when the connection plugs are very close to the head and the excess cable can disturb. In all other situations you should choose a straight cable.
Microphone types
2 possibilities are offered: High impedance and low impedance.
- High impedance microphones, also known as electret or standard microphones, are the most commonly used.
- Low impedance microphones, also known as dynamic microphones, are used in some military aircraft and helicopters.
Bluetooth
Those BOSE A30 equipped with Bluetooth allow you to make and receive phone calls when paired with a mobile phone. They also allow listening to stereo Hi-Fi music.
Models without Bluetooth can listen to music using the supplied cable, but can't operate phone calls.
