Withworth Screws

There are two major worldwide series of screws according to the pitch of the thread: The Metric and Whitworth.

Metric thread is used mainly in Europe and Asia, and is usually found in hardware stores in Spain.
Whitworth thread used primarily in the United States and England, and therefore are not available at the local hardware store.

We must bear in mind that many manufacturers of equipment and accessories for sport aviation in the United States are therefore using Whitworth thread.
